I took a 10 day trip to New Mexico in the spring of 2004 with my senior design group at MTU. We traveled down there for the WERC environmental design competition. We took 2nd place in our task at the competition, but the trip itself was most memorable part. We flew into Albuquerque and drove south to Las Cruces, where the competition was held. We stopped at as many parks and other "hot spots" as we could along the way, and were able to explore the areas surrounding Las Cruces fairly well. Here are some of my photos from that trip:
Spring 2006 took me back Out West again... this time on a solo journey... a sort of southwest National Parks tour. I had nearly 3 full weeks to spend since I was in-between jobs at the time (in-between Florida and Houghton). Here's a few pages of photos from that trip (there's also a few in my panoramics page):
