My good friends Jared and Zoë came down from the US to visit in early June 2009... they were "just stopping by" on their way to Australia to see family. We hung out in Christchurch for a few days and then we all went down to Queenstown - Wanaka - Haast Pass for a few days of gorgeous sight seeing and NZ brew sampling! These are my favorite photos from that trip to the south end of the South Island (there's three pages):
