There's an annual even held up in Blenheim called "Blues, Brews, and BBQs"... With a name like that, how could I resist?! A few of us (including my bro, who's down under visiting for a month or so) made the 4 hour drive up there on Waitangi Day. The scenery along the road was worth the drive... and the beer was pretty good too!

There were two stages set up, playing your standard mediocre blues covers to your standard drunken wobbly dancing crowd.
Time for a break in the shade... then off to check out that BBQ!
