Melbourne University is not the only place in Melbourne to find grand architecture. St Patrick's church in Fitzroy is one of the fanciest I saw.
Just one of many large public parks in Melbourne, the Fitzroy Gardens help to make break up the stressful urban setting and create small patches for wildlife observation within the city limits.
Much like other tree pests in other parts of the world (i.e.: Emerald Ash-borer in the USA), this little critter seemed to be causing much harm to many trees in Fitzroy Garden, by burrowing into their bark.
I flew with the new Tiger Air budget airline back from Melbourne. This was their private terminal. No restaurants, no drinks, no entertainment at all. But hey, they're cheap.
